J. Magnolia is a line of uniquely crafted jewelry. It combines Precious and Semi-Precious Gemstones in Sterling Silver or other Precious Metals. All designs are handmade by the Designer - everything can be custom made to order! These special pieces are a great gift idea for bridal parties, birthdays or even to just treat yourself!
About the Designer
j. magnolia was created by Jewelry Designer, Jaime Silverstein. Jaime received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA., Jaime happily ventured back to the City of Brotherly Love after graduating in 2006 and has been fortunate enough to foster her career in Jewelry Design with the help of a very great friend and mentor. Located in the heart of Jewelers Row in Center City Philadelphia, you can find Jaime working diligently behind the bench at Ben Sorkin Jewelers - a staple storefront on the Historic Row (705 Sansom Street). The line was created to reach the public during time of economic crisis - when Precious metals were hitting a "high note", Jaime wanted to create pieces that would have high-end appeal without the high-end price tag! The name "j.magnolia" was a tribute to Jaime's fabulous and vivacious Bichon Frise, Maggie Scratch. Sadly, Maggie has recently passed away; However, she will be remembered and loved forever through the interesting designs Jaime continues to creates. A special thanks and loads of admiration go out to Ben Sorkin.
